Jane Espenson

Jane Espenson was an Executive Producer, Co-Executive Producer and Writer on Caprica. She was the Co-Executive Producer for episodes 102-107 and the Executive Producer for episodes 108-118. She wrote the episodes "Gravedancing" and "Apotheosis".

She wrote the lyrics for the Caprican national anthem, "Caprica Abides". ("Rebirth") ("Apotheosis")

She was also a producer and writer on Battlestar Galactica (2008-2009), Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007), The Face of the Enemy (2008-2009), and Battlestar Galactica: The Plan (2009).

Espenson was born as Jane Amanda Espenson. She attended graduate school at The University of California at Berkeley, where she studied linguistics. She is known for Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997), Once Upon a Time (2011) and Warehouse 13 (2009).
