Mike Dopud portrays Sal, the control room operator at Atlas Arena.
Dopud was born in Montreal, Canada, the second son of a Yugoslavian family. Dopud speaks English, French and Serbian fluently. He graduated with a degree in Physiology and International Business Administration from Southern Illinois University where he was a four-year letterman. Dopud went on to a pro-football career in the Canadian Football League that was cut short by a knee injury.
His size and professional sports background landed Dopud regular stunt work while he steadily began building his acting resume. His "day at the office" in stunt work has included being set on fire, hit by a car, falling off buildings, thrown through windows and down stairs, flying through walls, and fight scenes.
He is known for X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Man of Steel (2013), Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011) and Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011).
In Battlestar Galactica he played Specialist Gage (2005 - 2006, 2009) and Cpt. Deke "Minute Man" Tornvald in Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome (2012).
Dopud is married to Angela Schneider. They have 3 children.
